眾所周知，China代表著“中國”，而china指的是“瓷器”。
相同的拼寫和發音可以看出瓷器在中國歷史上的超然地位。精美的設計和複雜的做工也使它們通過貫穿亞洲、中東、歐洲和非洲的絲綢之路，成為海外追捧的高級奢侈品。
The Sīchóuzhīlù (絲綢之路) started around 100 BC, during the Han Dynasty, and lasted for over 1,600 years. It not only brought goods like cíqì (瓷器) across borders but also prompted exchanges of peoples, ideas and cultures.
絲綢之路大約始於公元前一世紀的漢朝，繼而蓬勃發展了1600多年。這條古代貿易之路不僅輸出了瓷器，更促進了各國之間文化思想的交流。
So, porcelain, or cíqì (瓷器), and silk, or sīchóu (絲綢), and many other Chinese inventions that remain parts of our lives weren’t known before the ancient Silk Road.
不過，在古代絲綢之路貫通之前，外國人並不知道中國發明瞭瓷器和絲綢。
The Belt and Road Initiative or yídàiyílù (一帶一路) is a revival that goes beyond. This is trade that extends beyond goods to include innovation. It’s a mutual expansion of economic interdependency, in which Chinese companies and other countries’ enterprises can synergize.
而中國現在提出的一帶一路倡議超越了貨物貿易的範疇，使中外企業通過合作實現共贏。
在古代，瓷器china可能是外國人對中國China的唯一認知，但現在，中國已經在全球樹立了良好形象。我們日常生活中仍在使用的瓷器和絲綢等物，將繼續遠銷海外。我們的一帶一路，也在承載歷史的基礎上，創造著更加美好的未來。
