He opened his first design office in 1985 and then a showroom in 1990, in Paris, in the Montalembert hotel. In 1997, he worked in the hotel Mercier in New York, it is this project that will make known his talent.

In 2009 and in the desire to perpetuate his work, Christian Liaigre set up a creative and managerial transition. After nine years at the helm of the French fashion house, Caillaud left Gaultier and was tapped by French designer Christian Liaigre to become the CEO of his namesake brand.
