世界讀書日，為你翻首詩

1995年，聯合國教科文組織宣佈4月23日為“世界讀書日”，致力於向全世界推廣閱讀、出版和對知識產權的保護。到今天，已經是第24個“世界讀書日”了。

有些人不值得你為他/她熬夜，就為等他/她發來“安全到家”四個字。

They don’t deserve how you stay up late for them, waiting for them to let you know they’ve reached home safely.

有些人不值得你抱著手機睡覺，因每一次小小的震動而驚醒，甚至一點點聲響，都希望是他/她發來的消息。

They don’t deserve how you sleep holding your phone, waking up at every small vibration or even just a little ping hoping that it’s them finally replying you.

有些人不值得你總把自己放第二，而把他/她放第一。

They don’t deserve how you always put yourself second and make them a priority.

有些人不值得你用充滿探究、愛意和驕傲的眼神來看他/她，就像他/她是上天賜予你最完美的東西。

They don’t deserve how you look at them with such wonder, love, and pride as if they’re the most perfect thing God has given you.

有些人不值得你總在他/她身邊，但當你需要他/她的時候，他/她卻不在你那裡。

They don’t deserve how you are always there for them when they aren’t there when you need them.

有些人不值得你為他/她努力和奮鬥，當一天結束的時候，他/她卻為了別人離開你。

They don’t deserve how you defend and fight for them when at the end of the day, they’ll leave you for someone else.

有些人不值得你為他/她靈魂相依，當他/她得到的時候，卻將其拋棄。

They don’t deserve how you gave them the key to your very soul when they throw it away like a used cigarette.

但總有一天，你會找到那個人。

But one day, you’ll find someone who is.

你會找到一個當你需要的時候，隨時出現在你身邊的人。

You’ll find someone who will be there for you when you need them.

你會找到一個當你不知道如何愛自己的時候，能夠愛你的人。

You’ll find someone who is capable of loving you when you don’t know how to love yourself.

你會找到一個把你從噩夢中喊醒，主動擁抱你的人。

You’ll find someone who will embrace you and scare the nightmares that haunt you away.

你會找到一個當你交付真心，不願讓你心碎的人。

You’ll find someone who won’t break your heart when you give it to them.

你會找到一個讓你心動，而不是讓你心痛的人。

You’ll find someone who will take your breath away, instead of causing you to suffocate.

你會找到一個把你認真對待，永遠不會讓你離開的人。

You’ll find someone who takes you as you are, demons and all, and never lets you go.

總有一天，你會找到一個配得上你的人。

One day, you’ll find someone who is worthy of you.
