中國網浪潮資訊 北京時間6月5日，寧波海事法院依法受理寧波市人民檢察院指控被告人艾倫·門多薩·塔布雷（ALLAN MENDOZA TABLATE）犯交通肇事罪一案。該案是寧波海事法院作為管轄海事刑事案件的試點法院受理的首例海事刑事案件，也是中國海事法院首次受理海事刑事案件。

北京時間5月7日，馬耳他籍散貨船“卡塔利娜”（CATALINA）輪從中國連雲港駛往印度尼西亞途中，在浙江象山沿海南韭山島東偏北約72海里附近海域，與中國山東石島籍漁船“魯榮漁58398”輪霧中發生碰撞，造成“魯榮漁58398”輪沉沒。該輪上19人中，14人死亡5人失蹤。經海事部門認定，“卡塔利娜”輪在此次事故中負主要責任。事故發生後，“卡塔利娜”輪當班駕駛員二副艾倫·門多薩·塔布雷經批准被執行逮捕。

據瞭解，隨著“一帶一路”建設、海洋強國及長江經濟帶發展等重大國家戰略的實施，中國海洋經濟迅猛發展，海上活動更加頻繁，新類型糾紛不斷出現，對海事審判也提出了更新、更高的司法需求。

據悉，繼2016年最高人民法院將相關海事行政案件納入海事法院管轄範圍之後，2017年2月就指定寧波海事法院試點管轄海事刑事案件。
