英語中a few和a little都有“一些”的含義，怎樣區分呢？
1、a few 和可數名詞連用。
如：a few penciles， a few books，a few places
2、a little 和不可數名詞連用。
如：a little milk，a little fresh air，a little beef
3、many 和much的比較和a few ,a little相近
many 用於可數名詞，much用於不可數名詞。
如：many students，many tables，much water，much sugar
4、但a lot of 則可用於可數或不可數名詞。
如：a lot of boats（可數），a lot of rice（不可數）
a few和a little雖然有“一些”的含義，但表達的數量是比較小的，近似於a small number或a small quantity。
5、few 和 little 是具有否定含義的詞，相當於 not...many和 not... much。我們比較一下：
She has a few good friends.（雖然不多，但也有一些好朋友）
She has few good friends.=She doesn't have many good friends.（幾乎沒有什麼好朋友，近似於無）
We have a little water.（雖然不多，但還是有一點水）
We have little water.=We don't have much water.（幾乎沒什麼水了，相當於沒有）
6、a few=a small number
many=a large number
a little=a small quantity
much=a large quantity
比如：They have a small quantity of money.（money不可數）
She has a small number of apples.（apple可數）
We don't have a large number of cars.（car可數）
They have a large quantity of salt in store.（rice不可數）
大家使用這幾個詞的時候，一定要注意名詞是可數的還是不可數的。
