Do you know how to describe your appearance or other people's outward appearance? Can you say it in English? After we learn this lesson, you can do it,let's learn together.

Step 2 完成教材1a­1c的任務

1.教師利用圖片或指著自己或相對應的同學來領讀新單詞。I have short/long…hair. He is heavy/thin…。(4分鐘)

2.讓學生把新單詞與圖畫中的人物連接起來,可以重複使用,完成1a。(2分鐘)

1.他長得什麼樣?What_does_he_look_like?

What does /do +主語+ look_like?用來詢問某人的外貌特徵,意思是“……看上去什麼樣?” 常用“主語+be+ 描述特徵的形容詞”或“主語+have或has+ 名詞”兩種方式回答。

2. 他是矮還是高?_Is_he_short_or_tall_?

這是一個選擇疑問句,這種句型結構很簡單,就是先按一般疑問句結構寫出,然後在其後加上“or + 對等成分”即可。選擇疑問句的回答不同於一般疑問句,不能用yes和no來回答,而必須選擇選項進行回答。

1.一點水 a_little_water 有點高 a_little_tall

a little 既可以修飾不可數名詞, 也可以修飾形容詞或副詞=kind of。

2.我找不到我的手錶了,它可能在你的口袋裡。

I_can't_find_my_watch,it_may_be_in_your_pocket.

在may be中,may是情態動詞,be是系動詞,兩者構成完整的謂語形式與主語形成系表結構,意為“也許是、可能是”。

3.wear 用法

1)他戴著一副眼鏡。He_wears_a_pair_of_glasses.

2)他穿著一件黃色毛衣。He_wears_a_yellow_sweater.

3.Today Jim ________ his white shirt and brown trousers.

答案選D。wear意為“穿著、戴著”,強調“穿、戴”的狀態。它可以指經常性的狀態,用一般現在時,也可以指暫時性的狀態,用現在進行時。put on意為“穿上、戴上”,強調“穿”、“戴”的動作,其中on為副詞,而不是介詞,故當put on的賓語為人稱代詞賓格時應將該賓格放在put和on之間。

another的確指的是“三者或以上中的另外一個”,一般修飾名詞單數;another 還可表示“又一的,再一個(或一批)的”常用結構為:another +數詞 + 名詞複數 = 基數詞 + more + 名詞複數。
