瓶盤口，細長頸，長圓腹，近足處外撇，圈足。瓶身以粉紅、桔紅、翠綠、草綠及褐色等彩料描繪花草紋，此瓶形體各部分比例協調，輪廓線條過渡柔和，畫面構圖疏朗有致，色彩淡雅宜人，每枚花瓣和葉片都描繪精細，質感逼真，堪稱康熙琺琅瓷器中的佳作。琺琅彩是我國陶瓷裝飾藝術中一朵奇葩，在中國陶瓷發展史上佔有重要地位，是極為名貴的御用器。其誕生後的二百年內都是皇家御用瓷器，琺琅彩瓷的製作技藝奇絕，時代特色鮮明，傳世極少，至為珍罕，備受世界收藏界推崇。
由於琺琅彩瓷的胎質較一般瓷器薄得多，在第二次上彩燒造時極易破裂。就是造辦處的一流工匠在燒製時也難免破損。據說一次雍正皇帝命清宮造辦處燒造一套五件酒杯，初次燒造就燒壞了兩件，後來在雍正皇帝的嚴厲訓斥下，小心翼翼直到三個月後總算燒製成功，其間匠師們竭盡全力，嘔心瀝血，摸索總結出一套燒製薄胎酒杯這一特殊品種的方法。憑藉宮中造辦處的優越條件尚不能完全杜絕破損，其技術要求之高，工藝之復狡雜是可想而知的。
琺琅彩瓷器在胎質的製作方面是非常講究的。胎壁極薄，均勻規整，結合緊密。在如此的胎質上又施釉極細，釉色極白，釉表光澤沒有桔皮釉、浪蕩釉，更沒有棕眼的現象，確可用“白璧無瑕”來讚譽。
琺琅彩瓷器從創燒到衰落都只侷限於宮廷之中供皇室使用，是“庶民弗得一窺”的御用品。2007年香港蘇富比春拍法國藏家舊藏的一隻康熙黃地琺琅彩花卉紋“萱壽延齡”圖碗，以1897.68萬港幣成交，是拍場上最貴的康熙琺琅彩瓷。這種黃彩色地花卉紋琺琅彩碗存世數量極少，僅臺北、北京故宮有類似品。2002年香港佳士得秋拍3252.41萬港幣成交的題詩過牆梅竹紋盤，就是雍正琺琅彩瓷中最為名貴的品種。2007年北京匡時國際秋拍中，一件雍正琺琅彩藍地纏枝牡丹紋“萬壽長春”碗以1728萬元成交。
