1,表示在上方的位置(above in position)

I was happpy that I had a roof over my head.(想象畫面）

2，表示越過。。。(above and to the other side)

The bull jumped over the wall.

英語中與“牛”相對應的詞有bull,cow,calf 和ox等,

bull（公牛）

Cow（母牛）

Calf（小牛）

Ox（閹割的公牛）

3,表示遍及不同的地方(here and there,in different places)

The president flew all over the country

4,表示從一邊到另一邊(from one side to another)

The goats walk carefully over the bridge

5,表示超過，高過，淹沒(more than, to submerge)
