中國電氣設備製造商特變電工計劃在烏克蘭南部建設一座500兆瓦的風電場。據悉，該風電場位於尼古拉耶夫，將由特變電工斥資5億美元進行建設。風電場的建設工作預計於今年11至12月展開，於2019年正式投運，有望成為東歐地區最大的風電設施。

Eastern Europe's largest project set for Ukraine

UKRAINE: Chinese electric equipment manufacturer Tebian Electric Apparatus (TBEA) has announced its intention to build a 500MW wind project in the Mykolayiv region, southern Ukraine.

The up-to-500MW project is expected to be one of the largest wind facilities both in Ukraine and the entire Eastern Europe, according to recent statements from the Ukrainian State Architectural and Construction Inspectorate (USACI).

The plant should be officially commissioned by 2019.

The cost of the project is estimated at $500 million, the majority of which is expected to be provided by the Chinese company and Chinese lenders.

TBEA is in talks with the Mykolayiv authorities over the necessary permits for the new facility. Construction is scheduled to begin in November-December.

The 200MW Botievskaya project, located in Zaporizhia, southeast Ukraine — and part of the DTEK Priazovskiy wind complex — is currently the largest wind power project in the country.
