高中英語常用倍數的表達句型，你會了嗎？

倍數表達法是高中英語教學的重點，也是歷屆高考的熱點。當我們要表達A是B的幾倍時，通常用下面幾個句型來表示：

一. A+倍數+形容詞（或副詞）的比較級+than+B

This desk is twice longer than that one.

這個桌子比那個桌子長兩倍。

The train runs twice faster than that truck.

火車的速度比那輛卡車快兩倍。

This street is four times wider than that one.

這條街比那條街寬4倍。

I am twice older than she.

我的年紀比她大兩倍。

二. A+倍數+as+形容詞或副詞的原級+as+B

Asia is four times as large as Europe.

亞洲的面積比歐洲多三倍。

The plane flew ten times as high as the bird.

那架飛機的飛行高度是那隻鳥的十倍（高出九倍）

This lane is four times as long as that one.

這條巷子是那條巷子的四倍長。

A Lamborghini can run three times as fast as an ordinary train.

蘭博基尼跑車速度可能是普通火車的三倍。

三. A+倍數+the size/ height/ length/ width.etc.+of+B

This track is four times the length of that one.

這條跑道是那條跑道的四倍長。

This moutain is four times the height of that small one.

這座山的高度是那座山的四倍（比那座山高三倍）

I have five times the number of Mary’s books.

我有五倍於瑪麗的書。

The river is ten times the length of the stream.

這條河的長度是那條小溪的十倍。

The earth is 49 times the size of the moon.

地球的體積是月球的49 倍。

四. A+倍數+times+more+名詞（可數，不可數）+than+B

There are four times more magazines in our library than in yours.

我們圖書館裡的雜誌比你們圖書館裡的雜誌多4倍。

We have produced twice more rice this year than we did last year.

我們今年生產的糧食是去年的兩倍。

He earns three times more money than he did two years ago.

他現在掙的錢比兩年前掙的多三倍。

There are twice more students in our class than in theirs.

我們班的學生人數比他們班多兩倍。

五. A+倍數+times as many/much+名詞+as+B

He earns five times as much as he used to.

他現在比過去多賺五倍的錢。

We've produced twice as much cotton this year as five years ago.

今年的棉花比五年前多了一倍。

She has got three times as many toys as her little sister.

她擁有的玩具的數量是她妹妹的三倍。
