What kind of workout do you make outside of the pool? let me know pls. thnks.

I do not do anything but swimming in Summer.

this is really amazing. so effortless it seems. what about the speed? is it comparable to a "normal" swim?

+than win , I think comparing speed with other people has no meaning since fast people are fast. I have been breaking my personal records for more than thirteen years.

答:我覺得和其他人比速度是沒有意義的。我已經連續13年打破自己的最好記錄。

答:保持身體的伸展,直到你進行左右的轉換。

a question on your stroke - your recovery motions are not symmetric, i.e. your right hand pierces the water at a downward angle directly to the catch positiob, while your left hand is extended forward and then sinks from there to the catch position. is the difference intentional or just a habit?

It is my habit. There is no reason. Maybe I am left-handed.

問:你左右兩隻手的動作好像不對稱。右手入水後是直接到抓水的位置,而左手是向前伸展,然後再下沉到抓水的位置。這是你的習慣,還是刻意為之?

答:這是我的習慣,沒有什麼原因,也許因為我是左撇子。

so I'm watching your legs and u kinda like pop them in a motion wise if that makes sense, would that make me Go faster cause I did the arm movement and it doesn't really make me go fast. but if I kick my legs Luke your doing would that make go faster? please respond cause I need to know this stroke.

+Sydney Bandy , if you can connect toe-flicking action with hand-spearing action, you can increase your speed.

Thanks Mr Shinji Takeuchi. Your video is really awesome. This kind of swimming method is really fit for me of such mid-age men. I have read the message below. 12 strokes per 25m in 20 sec is really very good record especially by such relax and graceful of swimming style. May I know if 95% or more power for speed is come from stroke. The 2 beat kick mainly for balancing the body and keeping the body in streamline position. Looking forwards to hear your opinion. thanks

+Alex Lee , another role of 2 beat kick is to anchor body roll movement and create a leverage to spear your hand more quickly.

Is TI swimming different from Freestyle. I swam as a kid with no technique, now I'm trying to learn a style. I notice there less leg movement in your style compare to just simple free style, is there a different. Are you swimming that slow or is it slow motion? I tried it and it seem like I'm fighting the water.

+JEROME BURNETT , if you think swimming 25m in 20 seconds is slow, yes, I swim slowly. I am not competing with other athletes since I started swimming when I was 37 years old. I enjoy my swim very much.

問:我注意到你的游泳動作中打腿很少,相比於其它的自由泳。你是遊得這麼慢,還是這是慢動作?

答:如果你認為25米20秒,很慢的話,是的,我就是遊得這麼慢。我從37歲游泳開始就沒有想過和其他的運動員來比賽。我非常享受我的游泳。

whether it is good when you are working your abdominal muscles while working leg kicks in crawl?

+Annie KH , you do not have to work on your legs to kick. You just stretch back of the knee. Ab muscle control will be require at level 3 skills.

答:打腿並不需要練習腿部肌肉。你只需要向後伸直你的膝蓋。腹部肌肉控制只有在L3水平的時候才需要
