Feifei謝謝 Kevin 和這位微博用戶發來的問題。看來，很多英語學習者都對這幾個詞的區別感興趣。名詞 sector、department 和 division 都是大型企業、機構、組織內部分支的名稱。雖然 sector、department 和 division 都可以被翻譯成“部門”，而且這些詞義也有重疊的部分，但它們所代表的機構職能、規模可能不同。在接下來的節目中，我們將通過例句來幫助大家分析近義詞 sector、department 和 division 的區別。
首先，我們來看 sector。雖然我們常把單詞“sector”翻譯成“部門”，但 sector 多指“某個國家經濟活動或社會中的一個行業”。比如： “the service sector 服務業”、“the financial sector 金融業”。讓我們來聽幾個包含單詞 sector 的例句。

Feifei有時，單詞 department 也可以用在政府機構的名稱中，可以理解為“部、局、處”。舉個例子來說，英國衛生部的名稱是“the Department of Health”，英國教育部則是“the Department for Education”。最後，大型百貨商場裡，售賣不同商品的部門也可以叫做“department”，比如“男裝部 men’s department”、“家居部 home department”等等。
