閒話不多，今天的們的主題是“發展”。無論在四六級，專四八還是日常交流，當涉及到描述某件事物/某個人的改變過程時我們總免不了用到：
…..has become more and more powerful/better…. during these years.
或With the development of …, XX is becoming …. 這樣的句子雖無語法錯誤，但讀多了也是味同嚼蠟。下面小E就給大家分享3條描述發展的常用表達，大家可以拿起小本本了哦~
第一彈--學學有關發展的表達
第一：By/in leaps and bounds=very quickly and greatly
外刊原文：From 1945 to 1989 the number of civil wars roseby leaps and bounds, as America and the Soviet Union fuelled internecine fighting in weak young states. 1945年到1989年間全球內戰次數迅速上升，主要原因是美國和蘇聯在新興國家中煽動內戰。
經典例句：The total number of species on the planet appears to be growingby leaps and bounds. 地球上的物種數目似乎正飛速增長。
短語解析：by/in leaps and bounds 可以形容事物的發展非常迅速，常見搭配為：
Grow/progress/advance… by leaps and bounds.
No.2 Go from bad to worse
= to become even more unpleasant or difficult
外刊原文：For most of the year the news Toulouse, headquarters of Airbus, rangedfrom bad to wors.
今年大多時候，從空客圖盧茲總部傳出的消息越來越糟
經典例句：For the past couple of years me life hasgone from bad to worse. 過去幾年裡，我的生活每況俞下。
短語解析：go from bad to worse 即“每況愈下”，用以說明局勢情況等不斷惡化；反義表達為： go from strength to strength
