By an unluckly chance a Fox fell into a deep well from which he could not get out.
A Goat passed by shortly afterwards,and asked the Fox what was he doing down there.
“OH,have you not heard?”said the Fox;“there is going to be a great drought,so I jump dowm here in order to be sure to have water by me.Why don’t you come dowm too?”
The Goat thought well of this advice,and jumped dowm into the well.But the fox immediately jumped on her back,and by putting his foot on her long horns manageg to jump up to the edge of the well.
“Good-bye,friend,”said the Fox,“remember next time,“Never trust the advice of a man in difficulties.”

一隻不走運的狐狸，失足掉到了井裡。井很深，他無法跳出來。
一隻山羊經過這裡，便問狐狸在井下做什麼。
狐狸說：“哦，你還沒聽說嗎？這裡將要大旱，因此我跳進來確保我自己有水喝。為什麼你不下來一起呢？”
山羊相信了狐狸的話，就真的跳進了井裡。
狐狸立即跳上山羊的背，又一跳，跳上了井沿。
“再見，朋友，”狐狸說，“記住，不要相信一個深陷麻煩的人的建議。”
